Call for Papers Submission Form

What happens during the Call for Papers process?

The ITK 2025 conference will consist of over 100 presentations proposed and submitted by the participants. At least three reviewers evaluate each proposal using the blind review method. We look forward to seeing your proposals based on your experiences and experiments - both successful and less joyful.

Select the most suitable format for your proposal from the submission form . You can submit your proposal in one of four different formats:

The formats differ in terms of duration and presentation method. Details of the different formats are given on the proposal form.

All proposals received will be evaluated. Each proposal is evaluated by at least three reviewers and is evaluated by the blind review method.

Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of the level of functionality of the presentation, the relevance of the topic to the ITK theme of the year, the novelty value of the topic and applicability in practice.

Steps for submitting a proposal

Once you have selected the format, fill out the associated submission form. The submission form will ask for basic information about the presentation and a written description of its content. All proposals will be evaluated based on the content description. Only a limited number of proposals can be selected for the program.

You can submit an application for each presentation individually, but you can also submit a joint application with multiple presenters.

The proposal form can be completed in parts and saved as a draft.

Companies may also submit a proposal, but commercial advertising speeches are not a part of ITK.

Remember to submit your proposal by October 31, 2024, after which all proposal forms will close.

The contact person who submitted the proposal will be informed of the choices in November/December. We reserve the right to decide upon the final conference program.

You can view your own presentation proposals on the Call for proposals page. For each proposal, you can see its current status:

  • Proposal = You have saved the presentation proposal as a draft. Please remember to confirm your presentation proposal no later than October 31, 2024, to ensure it progresses for review.
  • Confirmed = Everything is in order. You have confirmed the details of your presentation proposal, and it will now proceed to the evaluation process.
